Um conceito que tem sido a vir explorado nos últimos anos e que tem revelado grande utilidade em reunir pessoas com os mesmos interesses, residentes ou de passagem pela cidade. Artistas, apreciadores de arte, grupos de amigos, turistas, os próprios habitantes dos bairros em que estes eventos ocorrem.
Um espaço confortável e informal de partilha daquilo que gostamos de fazer, profissionalmente ou como hobbie, onde podemos conviver e visitar para levar sempre algo material ou imaterial connosco.
O Miguel Serzedello - sócio e gerente do associação BUS-Paragem Cultural nos Anjos - tinha o local e já a experiência e contactos de quem já fazia parte das actividades diárias da associação.
Zé Manel - músico, compositor e artista activo noutras áreas como as produções de moda que inciaram este blog - e a Joana Avi-Lorie - arquitecta e spoken word poet - tinham também contactos e laços com artistas com muita vontade de ter um espaço onde expor e experimentar as suas obras e projectos.
Isto foi apenas o início.
Ao longo de um ano e dez edições (a caminho da décima primeira este mês), as The Oversharing Sessions cresceram e juntaram muitas pessoas às quais devemos o seu sucesso.
Tornaram-se uma caixa onde cabe um pouco de tudo e que atraídos por nós ou vice-versa vêm partilhar de si: da sua arte pintada, fotografada, falada, cantada, tocada, encenada, dos seus projectos culturais e sociais, em diversas línguas e tons. Publicidade para as organizações solidárias e de integração das várias partes da comunidade Lisboeta e não só.
Queremos continuar a dar aos artistas nacionais ou estrangeiros residentes ou de passagem por Lisboa um espaço e um tempo para o seu trabalho final ou experimental e a todos os amigos e outros visitantes a oportunidade de virem adquirir arte ou experiências.

The Oversharing Sessions came up as an idea between friends of creating an event, art platform (mainly for experimental art) and market of second-handed items, new brands, artcraft and gastronomy in Lisbon.
A concept that has been explored in the latest years and revelead great eficiency in terms of getting together people with the same interests, residents or visiting the city. Artists, tourists and the ones living in the neighborhoods where these events take place.
A cosy and informal space of sharing what we like to do, professionally or as an hobbie, where we can gather and visit to always take home something material or non-material with us.
Miguel Serzedello - manager and partner at the cultural association BUS-Paragem Cultural in Anjos - had the space and already experience and contacts of the ones who engaged in the daily activities that take place in the association.
Zé Manel - musician, song writer and active artist in other areas such as the fashion editorials that started this blog - and Joana Avi-Lorie - architect and spoken word poet - also had contacts and connections with artists willing to have a place to show and experiment their pieces and projects. This was just the beginning.
Through one year and ten editions (11th coming this month), The Oversharing Sessions grew up and got together a lot of people to whom we owe its success.
It became a box where you can fit a little bit of everything and asked by us or the other way around, they came to share something of their own: Their painted, photographed, spoken, sung, played art; their cultural and social projects in different languages and colors. Publicity for charity work and projects for integration of the several parts of the community of Lisbon and around the world.
We want to go on giving the artists, nacional or passing by Lisbon, a space and time for their final or experimental work and every friend and visitor the opportunity to get art or experiences.
